- Advanced Trade: Uses a maker-taker pricing model. Fees are generally lower and are tiered based on your 30-day trading volume.
- Payment Methods: Funding accounts via ACH, wire, or cash balance is generally cheaper than using a debit card or PayPal, which incurs higher processing fees.
- Spread Costs: Coinbase adds a spread (the difference between the buy and sell price), which is an additional cost on top of any stated exchange fees.
